Monday 2/3/09 1646.

My beautiful wife, Chi, gave birth to my 2nd son. His name is James Hayden Mitchell (James because we like it and Hayden after the great Aussie opener, Matthew Hayden!)10 hour labour and no problems to speak of (apart from squeezing a small watermelon through an opening the size of... well, you know)

Chi was so good throughout and I can't tell you how proud of her I was!!

He was born 3.16kg (7.0oz) and 50cm long with 10 fingers, 10 toes and everything else he's supposed to have.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 3-5/3/09

Ate hospital food, rested, looked after Mum and bub. Took some photos.

Friday 6/3/09

At last, we get to take our little boy home!! Now we get to settle into life with two kids, although I don't think Thomas is too happy about sharing the spotlight now.

Everything is going well and you are gonna see alot of photos of James and Thomas over the next few weeks, not so many landscapes but I hope you enjoy 2 out of 3 of the most beautiful things in my life!!
